Le Domaine d’Angerville is the ideal base from which to discover all that Normandy has to offer. Situated just over 2 hours’ drive from Paris, our 5 guest rooms and our gîte have the advantage of being at the crossroads of the Pays d’Auge and the Côte Fleurie, two postcard territories of the region.
The Pays d’Auge, land of horses and heritage
The Pays d’Auge is a geological region renowned for its bucolic landscapes, historical heritage and equestrian tradition. Its green hills, blossoming apple trees and hedged meadows make for an idyllic setting. The Pays d’Auge is also famous for its prestigious haras, where some of the finest racehorses and saddle horses are bred. Horse-riding enthusiasts can discover numerous equestrian centers and attend renowned equestrian competitions.
The Pays d’Auge’s architectural heritage is equally remarkable. Charming villages such as Beuvron-en-Auge, Beaumont-en-Auge and Pont-l’Évêque are dotted with typical half-timbered houses and manor houses.
The cider route through the Pays d’Auge invites you to discover local flavors, including cider and calvados. Not forgetting the famous Normandy cheeses: camembert, pont-l’évêque and livarot.
The Côte Fleurie, its beaches and villas
The Côte Fleurie is the coastal strip stretching some 40 kilometers between Merville-Franceville-Plage and Honfleur. It is famous for its sandy beaches and charming seaside villas. Renowned resorts such as Cabourg, Houlgate, Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer attract relaxation-seeking tourists every year.
Côte Fleurie villas, built in the 19th and early 20th centuries, add a touch of refinement. These residences, often in the Belle Époque or Anglo-Norman style, bear witness to the region’s social history. Stroll along Deauville’s famous “Planches”, discover Trouville’s lively market, lounge on the beaches with their famous parasols, stroll through Honfleur‘s narrow streets to discover its art galleries, …
The Côte Fleurie is also rich in cultural events, including the Deauville American Film Festival.
A perfect blend of nature and architecture, this coast seduces with its timeless beauty and unique atmosphere.

On the other side of the Seine, Le Havre, with its modern architecture listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Rouen, known for its Gothic cathedral and medieval streets, are two other Norman gems.
